Would you like to be a guest speaker addressing issues related to East Asia?
CEAS is recruiting volunteers who can give a brief overview on social issues and/or cultural experiences related to different parts in East Asia to our larger Tucson and Arizona communities. The goal of these presentations is to improve the understanding of East Asia in Arizona and humanize different East Asian societies with authentic stories.
Therefore, your presentation can be informed by your personal experience of having lived in a specific place in East Asia, and/or your learning and research focused on these places.
Typically each of these presentations will be approximately 30 mins, plus a Q&A section, and usually the audience would be K-12 schools, community colleges, and/or other entities that CEAS partner with to provide outreach.
