Study Abroad Scholarship

CEAS Study Abroad Scholarship 

Eligibility: 

  • Currently enrolled full-time University of Arizona sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students 

  • 2.75 cumulative GPA 

  • Participant in the 2022 the Arizona in Kyoto program, our affiliated program at Tunghai University in Taiwan, and or another program approved by the Department of East Asian Studies (EAS). Please consult the EAS study abroad advisors if you have questions about whether or not the program is EAS approved:

Award specifics: 

  • Amount: Up to $2500  

  • To be used during summer 2023 

Application packet should include: 

  1. Cover sheet - please include your full name, which summer program you are attending, any other scholarships you have applied for to fund the program, and if you have received any of the funding.  

  1. Resume/CV 

  1. Statement of purpose (maximum 500 words) explaining how one of these two language programs will further your career/educational goals. 

  1. Please email one pdf of all parts to EAS-center@arizona.edu  

Application deadline: March 24 (Friday), 2023 at 5PM Tucson Time
